What is a digital file?
A digital file is essentially the "digital" version of a film negative.  A digital file is a single image.  When you have the high resolution digital file of a single image you are able to print hard-copies from that file on your home computer, email your friends and family or print the image from a lab of your choice.  If you are not going to print your images through me and my professional photography lab, I recommend using http://www.mpix.com

Albums
Albums are not included in the photography package.  
Album pricing depends completely on the brand and style of album you prefer.  Some albums start at $500, some albums start at $1500 and go up from there.  I have priced albums two ways:

Design Only:
for use with your own album company.  I design the layout for you and you print your album at your preferred vendor.
starts at $400

Album & Design:
I custom design, print and bind your wedding album through a professional album company.  I can use any album company you prefer.  
starts at $400 plus print fee and album binding fee

Travel Fees
If your wedding is longer than a 2 hour drive from the Metro Detroit area, than a travel fee will be added.  I custom quote each individual wedding.

Retainers and Reservations
A retainer fee of 50% of your total package price books your wedding date. This retainer fee is not refundable.  Your wedding date is reserved immediately after I have the signed contract and the retainer fee.  I can not hold a date for you.  The remaining balance of your photography package is due 2 weeks before your wedding date.
